TIME is moving fast and these days we have started sailing to new lands, new age, new ways of life. And we here at Prudence School, best school in Delhi NCR, not only make an effort to manage the situation that comes with the change but always make sincere efforts to lead the change.
This day the 5th of September is an auspicious day. Wishing all our Dear Teachers a very Happy Teachers’ Day! To celebrate Teachers’ Day is something so special. This is because teachers contribute so deeply to shaping the future of a nation – our STUDENTS. Guiding and nurturing students in becoming positive, productive and contributing citizens of the country is the best way to contribute to the growth and development of the nation.
Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – a great TEACHER and Scholar.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was the second President of India a great TEACHER and scholar. It is an important occasion for all educational institutions to honor the hard work and teachings of all the respected teachers. We stand united in our appreciation and gratitude to the teachers doing their bit in every nook and corner of our nation.
A teacher’s Job is not a Simple Task!
Teachers have to be dynamic and adopt different teaching patterns for different students. It is a job full of responsibility and challenges because not every student is the same. Teaching is a social practice and so apart from knowledge, a teacher must be a good human being who can very well shoulder the responsibility of understanding the sensitivity of the situation where students with different abilities and from different backgrounds come together for learning.
Teachers are constantly required to ask these Questions.
It is so important that teachers ask themselves – How are we sailing? Have we planned out our new routes and new maps thoughtfully? Are we looking at new situations, new ways to self-discovery with new eyes – new vision? Technology is cutting across geographical boundaries and giving opportunities to those far and near. Have we equipped ourselves well enough for this new connection?
Re-adjust the Sails as per the Directions of the Winds
Teachers as facilitators of learning and as guides and mentors of young learners, need to re-adjust the sails and compasses as per the directions of the winds of change.
We are heading towards more demanding and challenging times. It is time for each one of us to break free from the old system which holds us from growth and progress. Develop the capacity to shift and change, add the required skills, reduce the burdensome loads and integrate creativity, laughter and joy into teaching and learning.
Teachers are Pillars of Schools
Dedicated teachers have always been pillars of strength and helped children explore new ways of learning. You have taken on the difficult challenges and problems that often come our way. Many of you have joyfully made strong efforts to push ahead to the new paths. I appreciate your enthusiasm, courage and spirit. Always keep alive your multi-dimensional persona with talents, potentialities, positivity, encouragement, compassion and cheer for the children.
Dear Teachers Shine Bright and Strong!
May God bless each one of you with the strength to achieve greater personal and professional growth in the years to come. Shine bright and strong and be successful in your endeavours to give the best to your students!
