Visit to The Craft Museum - Prudence Dwarka - 16B
An educational tour away from the comfort of school and home, fosters independence, leadership skills and provides the opportunity to explore and experience. To provide the real insight of the TBL theme –‘Textiles’, Prudence School Dwarka 16B, organized a visit to the ‘National Handicrafts and Handlooms Museum’.
The visit to the museum was a peep into the craftsmanship and traditional talent of people residing in our country. The museum had an inexhaustible collection of artifacts, especially the textiles section. The village hut complex was very fascinating for the students. Students also gathered a lot of information related to textiles from the library. At the museum, few artisans displayed and demonstrated the wide collection of their artifacts to the children.
The visit to the museum was an altogether thrilling experience for the students. Through this visit, students realized that making things by hands continues to be a fundamental activity across the country. The visit left an indelible impression on their mind.
