‘A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people’
Prudence, Dwarka 16B has witnessed a majestic commemoration on 70th Republic day of India on 24th January 2019. The students presented an extra ordinary assembly and filled each heart with patriotism.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of tricolour; the pride of the nation by the honourable Chairman, Prudence Schools, Mr. G. S. Matharoo which was followed by the national anthem. The entire school embodied in the shades of tricolour. The contingents of students marched on the beat of drum while the Chief Guest presided over it.
The festivities commenced with a speech to enlighten the students about the significance of the day followed by awe – inspiring poetry.A soulful rendition of patriotic medley by the choir filled the air with the love for nation. Honourable Chief Guest,
Mr. G. S. Matharoo addressed the children and motivated them to emulate the spirit of our constitution.
The celebration was further adorned by a scintillating dance performance by grade VII remembering the innumerable sacrifices of the soldiers and their families.
The significance of being republic and rights given in constitution were beautifully presented by the students of grade VI through a fascinating Nukkad Natak. Pulsating with rhythm and harmony, the passionate students presented a performance of meditation and yoga based on the theme Peace, Progress and Unity in diversity.
With the determination to take India to newer heights, tri colour balloons were released in the sky.
