Celebration of International Dance Day
Dancing is about being in the moment. It's about listening to the scope of sensations and allowing that listening to become the fuel of all feelings, forms, and content.
To celebrate and mark the significance of International Dance Day a special assembly was organized at Prudence School by the students of Class III,VII and X. The theme Dancing Feet' was appropriately chosen to celebrate the occasion. All the students participated with a lot of zeal and vigor and wholeheartedly gave their contribution. The assembly started with a prayer soulfully sung by the choir group. Thereafter an inspirational thought and news for the day was presented by students. The narrators took us through the program with enthusiasm and confidence! They shared valuable information to enlighten the students about the importance of this day. A combination of small dance pieces and monologues were presented by the students to depict the different dance forms. A beautiful poem on dance was also recited. To bring a meaningful and energetic end to the assembly a scintillating dance performance portraying the significance and celebration of this cheerful day was presented by the group of students. Students were finally applauded for their efforts by the Vice Principal. It was indeed a splendid show by the supremely talented students of Prudence School.
