Heat Wave Awareness
Be prepared to beat the heat!
A heat wave is a period of abnormally high temperatures that occurs during the summer season in the North-Western parts of India. The extreme temperatures and resultant atmospheric conditions adversely affect people living in these regions as they cause heat illness and even death.
To equip our young students to beat the prevailing heat wave condition in various parts of the country these days, an awareness campaign was conducted at Prudence Dwarka 16-B. Since, the safety and well being of the student is of utmost importance at Prudence School, the students were made aware of the dangerous effects of the heat wave and how to avoid them. The awareness was spread through Power Point Presentations, class discussions and talks on the topic during the assembly. The response of the students clearly showed that they could relate to the topic and felt more confident and equipped to tackle challenging environmental conditions during summer.
