Children are the most valuable resource and its best hope for the future November 14 - Children's day or Bal Diwas marks the birthday of our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who was known for his immense love and affection for children. Chacha Nehru said, "The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country".
Shri S.P. Aggarwal, Chairman Advisory Board of Prudence School was the chief guest on this occasion. The Head Boy and the Head Girl gave a warm welcome to Sir with bounties of flowers.
Aggarwal Sir addressed the students on this special occasion. He shared with the children about the importance and significance of Children's Day. In his words of wisdom, he also told the children about the contributions and active participation of Shri Jawaharlal Nehru in various programs organized for the children.
Teachers made great efforts in bringing smiles on the faces of their students which made them feel special and loved. There was excitement in the air and the young ones were full of stories about their special day at school.
The students across all grades witnessed wonderful performances such as Ganesh Vandana, musical skit, riddles time, poem and other performances which stressed to imbibe the values of discipline, sense of order, cleanliness, beauty and above all innocence in them. The children took a pledge of being more responsible, caring and loving human beings.
The day culminated by releasing the Prudence helium balloons and giving memorable takeaways in form of Prudence bookmarks and flags to the children.
