Our Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi held a second edition of his interaction on Pariksha Pe Charcha¯ with 2,000 students from high school to college across the country, along with their parents and teachers on 29th January , 2019 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. The session was telecast live with the students, teachers, parents and the Prime Minister discussing issues related to exams and the stress connected to that. The communication was a perfect example, set to train and guide students battle the anxiety of taking tests.
"Our learning cannot be reduced to exams only. Our education must equip us to face various challenges of life as well. I sincerely believe that anything that challenges us polishes us too. If there is nothing to test us, then we become complacent. There must always be something to challenge us," he said.
The Prime Minister advised the students how to deal with depression, and not fall prey to it. To the parents, he requested them not to enforce their unfulfilled dreams and aspirations on their children and draw unnecessary comparison with others, as that might create a negative consequence.
He concludes educating the future generation to combat stress by being true to oneself, accept challenges and keep their hopes alive to realize their dreams.
