Prudence Dwarka 22 strongly believes that by voting, we add our voice to the chorus that forms opinions and the basis for actions.Upholding this conviction, the school organized the elections for its Senior Student Council body on 28th May in its vicinity.
Wheels started rolling down a fortnight ago for the entire Electoral Process. After receiving written applications, conducting interviews, shortlisting candidates for various posts, witnessing impressive manifesto presentations and planned assembly hustings wherein eligible applicants shared their verbal mandate, elections were finally held to create a totally reliable and unbiased selection of the deserving candidates.
Each student of Innovators, Explorers, Creators and Pioneers club was given a polling card to cast the vote in a discreet manner in the ballot box meant for their respective club under the supervision and guidance of teachers and administrative staff. It was a close run election with multiple nominations of eligible student candidates for the various posts. The last phase of counting of the votes leads to a flush of excitement and enthusiasm not only amongst the students but even the teachers and administrative staff.The entire electoral process was conducted with meticulously under the esteemed direction of Principal Dr Bhardwaj , Vice Principal Ms Charu Sharma and able guidance of the Academic Head, Ms Ruby Chandel.
