To commemorate the earthly arrival of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of lord Vishnu, students at Prudence school Dwarka 16B celebrated Janamashtami with great enthusiasm and fervor.The celebration commenced with an enlightening skit from Krishna's birth to his role in Mahabharat, from Bal Leela' to Kanns Vadh', illustrating the fact that whenever there will be dominance of malevolence, Krishna will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good. The astounding dramatization was followed by a scintillating Kathak dance performance presenting Krishna Leelas', leaving the audience spell bound.Boys, from Nursery and Preparatory attired as Krishna and girls as Radha dancing around, created nostalgic aura. Students also got an essence of Krishna's philosophical conversation contained in Bhagawad Gita, the holy book of Hindus. The event was concluded with the making of Mor mukut', a craft by students and thus, created awareness about Indian culture and tradition
